Since 1955 the Boys & Girls Club has had a home in Martinez, CA . Originally incorporated as the Boys Club of Martinez, the Club was renamed the Boys & Girls Club of Martinez in 1986 and added a chartered club unit in Rodeo in 1988. In June 2002, the organization adopted its new name of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Diablo Valley . The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Diablo Valley  currently reaches over 1,000 youth aged 6-18 through its various programs.  

Membership Information: Did you know for an annual membership of $24 your child aged 6-18 can enjoy all of the Club benefits twelve months of the year? This includes the summer months and in-school session days. Click our Program & Services page for more information and to download a Membership Application.

A Note From Our Chief Professional Officer: As we near the end of one year and the beginning of another, it is time for reflection and gratitude.The Club is grateful for the wonderful and supportive partnerships within our communities that allow us to fulfill our mission.That mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach the full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Our youth are our future and at the Club, every Club member receives opportunities in order to be successful.This past year, our members received tutoring, homework help, computer classes, social recreation programs, art club, mentoring, physical education programs, and leadership and character development programs. As we look toward the New Year, we will be adding several new programs, such as Passport to Manhood, SMART Girls, Keystone Club, and Torch Club.Thank you for your continued support of the Club, because Great Futures Start Here!

Air Products Foundation Donates to BGCDV

Celebrating 1000 Ross StoresMartinez - December 12, 2011 As part of its ongoing commitment to non-profit organizations in the communities Air Products serves, the Air Products Foundation, through its corporate contributions program, presented a check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the   Diablo   Valley  on Friday, December 9, 2011 in the amount of $12,500.   "Caring for the communities where our employees and neighbors live and work is a long-term commitment for Air Products, and one that we take seriously. We believe in healthy and stable communities for our employees, friends and neighbors, so we work each day to help through innovative programs and partnerships.  The Boys and Girls Clubs of the   Diablo   Valley  are focused on improving the community by positively impacting the youth of the community.  Air Products’ is pleased to continue over 10 years of support of the Club,” said Eric Schneider, Site Manager Air Products Martinez.
